Oscars # 4

Christopher Pine comes out to introduce “District 9”. This film was my favorite of 2009. It was an achievement in science fiction. It brought action, some love story, and some eye opening with its retelling of South African apartheid.

Tina Fey and Robert Downey Jr. come out to present an award. They should do a movie together. Wow, they do some funny back and forth ribbing at writers and actors. In so many words, RDJ refers to writers as ugly mole people! YES!

BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY

The winner is Mark Boal for The Hurt Locker. Good. The movie was a perfect reflection of a reality most of us could never imagine. Apparently he was a reporter over there. Anybody who wrote that movie would have needed to be in the midst of the chaos.

Molly Ringwald! She is out with Matthew Broderick for a John Hughes tribute. She looks great. Then again that is probably because I have a thing for red heads. I think my favorite movie of his would be Uncle Buck. Then again, he did also write the first three Vacation movies. Wow they brought out an entire slew of actors that John Hughes created. Judd Nelson just does not look anything like he did as a kid. Macaulay Culkin always looks like he is sick.

Sam Jackson! He is introducing Up!
